Blue Ribbon Husband

Today's card is one I made for my hubby.  Since I think he's pretty great - who better to make a card for?!

I used the Blue Ribbon stamp set.  It coordinates with the 2 3/8" scalloped circle punch although it doesn't fit exactly so I just used a blender pen and ink to color in the white area after I punched it out.  The printed designs are from the International Bazaar DSP.  I really love the rich colors in the papers.  I also have learned the best trick for making the banners have even sides - using the corner of a square punch!

Ingredients:
Stamp sets: Blue Ribbon, Family Reunion
Inks: Raspberry Ripple, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Raspberry Ripple, Island Indigo, International Bazaar DSP
Accessories: 2 3/8' Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, Circles #2 die

Triple Time with Everything Eleanor

Hello and welcome to my blog! I really enjoy searching other blogs to help get my creative juices flowing so I thought - "Why not give it a try?!"  So here goes :)

My post for today is a new technique called triple time stamping and as you can see the results are gorgeous!
I got the instructions for the card from you tube.  Here is a link to the video if you want to give it a try too - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmculp_tz74
I used two of my new stamp sets to make this card - Everything Eleanor and Trust God.  I think these are easily becoming some of my favorites!  They are so versatile.    I also was trying out one of the new In Colors...Primrose Pink.  Yep.  I love it too.

So, here are the ingredients I used to make my card:
Stamp sets: Everything Eleanor, Trust God
Ink: Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette
Paper: Primrose Petals, Whisper White
Accessories: 5/8" White Satin Ribbon
*All cards are made with Stampin' Up product unless otherwise noted. Pin It Now!
